Description of 3 phase centrifuge

LW430 centrifuge is a new model that our factory has been engaged in research and manufacture of centrifuges for many years, according to the characteristics of domestic production technology. LW430 centrifuge of international advanced level is a new model developed by our factory for the separation of solid and liquid phases in MSG, alcohol, non-metallic minerals and similar production processes. The design, manufacture and factory inspection of LW430 centrifuge are strictly implemented in JB/T502-2004 and the enterprise technical specifications formulated by our factory.

Working principle:

Centrifuge is consist of two rotors, one is drum the other is screw conveyor ( For short spiral). Drum running with High-speed, the drum and slurry will rotate together and by the centrifugal force effect, this centrifugal force is larger than the weight many times, so that solid particles will be separated from the liquid, from the drum axis, then setting on the drum wall, the screw conveyor which located in the drum and rotating at the speed which lower than the speed of drum then push the solid particles to the residue discharge port.

Difference speed between outside drum and screw conveyor depends on the speed of the transmission ratio of differential and its rotation speed. The clear liquid with different densities of the two phases forms concentric cylinders, with the lighter liquid in the inner layer and the heavier liquid in the outer layer, which are discharged through the outlet of the light phase respectively.

In a sewage plant, what is the process of using a spiral settling centrifuge for desliming?

In sewage treatment plant, in the treatment of activated sludge, the whole process of using spiral settling centrifuge is: through the high-speed rotating drum, to drive the high-speed rotation of sludge, and then generate centrifugal force, so that the solid particles in the sludge settlement is accelerated, and concentrated on the drum wall. Then, through the spiral, the mud cake is scraped to the small end of the drum, so that it can be discharged, thus completing the mud removal work.

What is the advantage of decanter centrifuge to treat the waste water?

The horizontal screw discharging and settling centrifuge (referred to as horizontal screw centrifuge) with a fully closed and continuous operation with a large length-diameter ratio is used as the main machine of the sewage treatment centrifuge, which has the following advantages:

1. Fully closed operation, clean and pollution-free site.

2. The amount of flocculant and cleaning water is small, and the daily operation cost is low.

3. The equipment layout is compact, covers a small area, can significantly reduce the land acquisition and infrastructure investment.

Other Applications :

The 3-phase decanter separates which contains oil into an oil phase, solids and virtually oilfree waste water. Because of its high dry matter, the solids can be recycled relatively easily.

In addition, the solids concentration in the waste water is lower than would be the case if nozzle separators are used in conventional process.

Q:The paper mill sewage is treated with a horizontal screw centrifuge. It is found that there is a little bit more slag and blockage. How to deal with it?

A:How to judge that the horizontal spiral centrifuge has a little more slag? Is it compared with the same technical parameters before? Or did you change another decanter centrifuge or add too much medicine? Increasing the precision of machine parameters or the dosage of reagents both can bring about more slag discharging. In short, the smaller suspended solids that were previously hidden in the sewage are also separated by centrifugation. If the pretreatment is not done well, it can also increase the solid content of the fluid.

We have 2 solutions to solve the condition of more slag. One is to do a good job of pretreatment to reduce the solid content of the fluid, and the other is to adjust the differential speed of the spiral sweeping paddle of the horizontal screw centrifuge to make the pushing more smooth.
