Description:
In sewage water, additional gas will accumulate because of all kinds of gas or air to ventilate the waste water. In case to protect the transmission efficiency, SKAR - sewage air release valve is necessary to install for venting the air in pipeline. Air release takes place at high points, on long ascending and descending pipe sections, downstream of pumps, upstream of restrictions.
Anti-shock sewage combination air release valve can help to prevent water hammer. It decreased the water velocity and restrict the velocity of air flow. This type of valve is generally used in long waste water transmission pipeline where may occur a water hammer. If the air exhaust out the valve too quick, the waste water will comes in very fast, too. The water will prevent the float go up which caused the valve leaking.
Function:
Combination kinetic air release valve provide 3 functions:
1. Large air release -
Anti shock device to prevent fast flow and water hammer. Decrease the air exhausting velocity to prevent water hammer. Slow down water and air out with multi holes on top sealing arc
2. Small air release
2-1.During operation the air produced by the pipeline is accumulated in the upper part. Little by little it is compressed and its volume increases, pushing the liquid level downwards and allowing the air release through the small nozzle.
3. Large air intake during draining of the pipeline.
During pipeline draining, or pipe bursts, it is necessary to bring in as much air as the quantity of outflowing liquid. This is to avoid negative pressure and serious damages to the pipeline and the entire system
