This M series portable metal Rockwell/Surface Rockwell hardness gauge is designed based on basic designation of Rockwell hardness test and referring international apparatus,complying with state standard GB/T230.2-2004, international standard ISO6508 and USA standard ASTM E110.

This apparatus features small size, light, easy to operate, portable, accurate measurement and low cost. The weight of this apparatus is reduced to 1~2kg from original 100kg, suitable for usage on hand, at desk or production site; acceptance of work pieces in heat treatment plant, selection of materials in metal materials market, or on trip. Although the size and weight of this apparatus is reduced greatly, it features same accuracy as the desk machine, and the price drops greatly.

This apparatus is classified into Rockwell hardness gauge and surface Rockwell hardness gauge, covering 15 optional scales based on the types and hardness of metal material, available for testing of soft and hard metals, such as metal sheet, tubes, bars, moulds, band and lines, as well as various metal products, mechanical parts, and other applications. The mouth of this apparatus is 1 to 8 inch. All metal materials which can be put into the mouth can be tested.
